Islam And Compassion

Islam and compassion are deeply connected; mercy, empathy, and kindness form the foundation of faith and daily practice.

Compassion is at the heart of Islam. The Quran begins with the phrase “In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful,” reminding believers of their duty to show mercy to all creation.

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exemplified compassion in every aspect of life—toward the poor, the sick, animals, and even his enemies. His example teaches that kindness is a form of worship.

In modern times, acts of compassion continue to unite communities. Helping others, forgiving mistakes, and spreading positivity reflect the Prophet’s legacy in daily life.

True Islamic compassion transcends words—it is lived through patience, empathy, and understanding that every act of mercy brings one closer to Allah.
